🍎 Apple Market Stability Assessment (2026)
A multidimensional stability analysis across major Market × Variety × Grade segments using the
MIC Stability Index (0–100), integrating price variability, rolling volatility, structural drawdown exposure,
directional consistency, and shock frequency.
KEY FINDINGS
• Aglar | Kullu Delicious | A and Aglar | Delicious | A rank as the most stable segments (Index ~74), combining low variability, controlled volatility, and limited drawdown exposure.
• Narwal | Delicious | NoGrade is structurally the most volatile segment (Index ~24), exhibiting the highest variability (CV ~0.42), deepest drawdown (~1.65), and elevated short-term volatility.
• Instability is dimension-specific: some segments are shock-driven, others drawdown-driven — only Narwal shows weakness across multiple structural dimensions.
• High price does not imply high risk — select premium Grade-A clusters maintain strong price realization (~₹47–₹58/kg) with contained volatility.
